My Platform
Idaho is at a crossroads. Between budgetary crises in Boise and the rising influence of out-of-state interests, our local families are being left behind. As your representative, my priority is to move past the political theatrics and focus on the practical work of governing.
The following sections outline my position on the most critical issues facing our community and my commitment to getting Idaho back on track.
Education
Restoring Stability to our Schools
Idaho has an ethical and constitutional responsibility to fund public education. Right now, our system is stalled by extremist experiments and voucher schemes that drain local resources. As a teacher and a parent, I am running to end this era of political theatrics. We need predictable funding models, four-year levy cycles, and weighted support for special education. Our students deserve a system built on reliability, not annual conflict in Boise.
Conservation & Public Lands
Protecting Our Heritage and Our Lands
Our access to the Panhandle National Forest defines our way of life. I will firmly oppose any efforts to privatize our public lands for short-term corporate profit. We must balance the economic foundation of our natural resources with responsible management. My priority is ensuring our forests and waters remain in public hands for hunters, hikers, and future generations.
Fiscal Responsibility
Competence Over Ideology
Fiscal conservatism should mean competence, not crisis. Recent "ideological" tax cuts and corporate handouts have forced the state into budgetary stagnation and threatened essential services. A responsible budget requires everyone, including our largest corporations, to pay a fair share. I will prioritize full funding for law enforcement, firefighters, and infrastructure to maintain the growth and prosperity of District 4.
Healthcare
Securing and Protecting Healthcare for Rural Idaho
Medicaid expansion is a critical lifeline for our neighbors and the local clinics that keep our communities healthy. Attempts to dismantle this coverage are short-sighted and leave our most vulnerable citizens behind. I will fight to protect these services from draconian restrictions. Idaho needs a healthcare system built on empathy and community support, ensuring that rural families aren't forced to choose between their health and their livelihood.
Civil Rights
Defending Free Speech and Individual Liberty
Idaho politics has drifted away from the conservative principle of limited government. Recent efforts to censor ideas and restrict our public libraries create unnecessary administrative burdens and violate our fundamental rights. I believe the state should never be used as a tool to dehumanize our neighbors or control personal expression. My priority is protecting the freedom to differ and ensuring that the law treats every member of our community with equal dignity.
Reproductive Rights
A Compassionate Approach to Healthcare
Idaho’s current abortion restrictions are among the most extreme in the nation. These draconian bans were enacted without a meaningful safety net for women’s health or support for families in crisis. We need to move beyond out-of-state activism and political pandering. I am committed to shaping policy solutions that reflect empathy and open communication. It takes a village to support a mother, and we must take responsibility for building the foundations of a truly loving community.
Faith and Public Service
Leadership Rooted in Service, Not Power
My Christian faith motivates everything I do, but I believe that faith flourishes through service rather than government enforcement. I do not seek to lead as a judge over a "Christian Idaho," but as a servant to all my neighbors. True spiritually-guided work is judged by its fruits: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
I am running to promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty for everyone in our district, regardless of their personal creed.
